Training Locations

KASA offers two intakes annually — held in both Malaysia and Nepal. Nepal trainings include accommodation, a visit to the KASA workshop, and guided cultural immersion throughout the stay.

Two opportunities a year. Both are rare.

A religious ceremony taking place inside a richly decorated temple with intricate woodwork and colorful wall paintings. People are seated on the floor, some singing or meditating, while a monk stands at the front near a display of statues and offerings. The scene shows a peaceful spiritual gathering with photographs of religious figures on display.
A man and woman standing together in a temple with a large golden Buddha statue behind them. The man is holding a certificate, and both are smiling. The temple has decorated walls with smaller Buddha statues and floral patterns.
A group of people gathered on the stairs outside a decorated building, holding documents and smiling, with floral arrangements at the base of the stairs.
A man smiling and wearing a traditional Nepalese hat, sitting and engaging in conversation with another person inside a room with decorated walls showing traditional artwork.
A man and a woman participating in a traditional healing or spiritual ceremony. The woman lies on her back on the floor with her eyes closed, and the man is pouring a substance into a bowl. They are in a room with ornate, colorful decor and religious or cultural artifacts.
A woman with black hair and a white shirt appears to be performing a traditional Asian practice, possibly involving medical or spiritual healing, on a person lying on a bed. The room has ornate, colorful Asian-style decor with intricate ceiling and wall patterns, and multiple people are observing among warm natural light.

Sound Practitioner Training

Some knowledge can be found in books. This cannot.

KASA Sound Practitioner Training is one of the few certification programmes in the world offering direct, in-person transmission from Master Santa Ratna Shakya Kasa — the creator of the Full Moon Singing Bowl and a seventh-generation metalcraftsman from Patan, Nepal.

The name Kasa carries its own history. In Patan — Nepal's ancient handicraft city — the Kasa were metalcraftsmen appointed by royal decree, each lineage assigned to a specific craft. Master Santa's family has held that appointment for over 170 years. His bowls are used in wellness centres, yoga studios, and healing spaces across the world. His students come from every background. What they share is the desire to learn from the source.

There is no equivalent course taught by someone of his standing. This is the lineage, in person.
